A little about me.

Hi! I’m David Kochberg, an audio producer, musician, and creative problem solver based in Toronto.

For over 15 years, I’ve led parallel lives: working in mechanical and industrial engineering by day, and writing, performing, and producing music by night and on weekends—primarily with my band Goodnight Sunrise. My engineering background helped me teach myself audio recording and production, while making music taught me how to listen, collaborate, and bring a creative vision to life. Today, I bring those experiences together as a full-service podcast and audiobook producer.

I specialize in helping authors turn their books into audiobooks in their own voices. I guide you through recording setup and sessions, then handle editing, mixing, mastering, quality control, and publishing through ACX. I also produce the Math Therapy podcast, overseeing recording support, audio and video editing, and publishing.

You’ve put a lot of yourself into writing your book. Hearing it in your voice gives your audience another way to connect with it—and with you. I’ll handle the technical details and the boring stuff, so you can get comfortable behind the microphone and just read.
